Born in Delhi on 17.07.1964. After Graduation, she did her LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi in the year 1988. She joined as a Member of Delhi Judicial Service on 02.11.1992 and dealt with Civil and Criminal Jurisdictions. She did her LL.M. from Kurukshetra University in the year 2005.
She was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service in the year 2006 and held the Courts of different jurisdictions in Delhi. She was appointed as the District Judge (Commercial), North District in the year 2020. Then in the year 2020 itself, she was appointed as the Principal Judge, Family Court (North-West District). Then she was appointed as the Principal Judge (Headquarters), Family Courts, Delhi in May 2023.
Thereafter, since 07.06.2023, she is holding the office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, North District, Delhi.
